23 years ago today, at about 6am I arrived at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. It was almost 100 degrees that day in Alaska. I was so excited to meet my little sister, but I didn't know then how much my life would change that day. I gained a sister, a best friend, a person who gives me the closest idea of what it is to love someone completely and selflessly and above all else. Someone who I've watched grow and blossom into the most beautiful, kind hearted, genuine person I'm lucky enough to know. I remember fighting our dad for turns holding her- we couldn't get enough of this tiny human who was just perfect in every way. Her successes in life are what I'm most proud of, even beyond my own. I love you so much @mylissa_x3. Thank you for being MY sister.
