Today marks the 24th anniversary of my most important job in life to date- big sister. I'm pictured here excitedly awaiting this job at your baby shower. I was probably not great at it at first (sorry), but it's become my most honored and revered title. My sister is half of me, I would be lost without her. She is growing up to be the kind, beautiful, intelligent woman I always knew she would be- from the moment I stalked around outside the delivery room waiting for my turn to hold her. I remember wondering what her voice would sound like and what color her hair would end up (since she really wasn't born with much). I remember thinking when you were a baby "whoa when I'm 30 you'll be 22. I hope we'll be best friends then because we'll be able to go to bars together" ha! Well, I'm glad that we are best friends even if I don't really go to bars anymore That felt like it was a lifetime away, and maybe it has been but all those years in the mean time have been amazing because of you. I love you munchkin, monkey, pottamiss, pudding, etc. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
