Picked up my veggie starts just as the skies opened up and I got poured on in Lowe's garden center ️

Yellow bell pepper plant not faring super well, but still fruiting. It got choked out by the watermelon vines so it didn't really thrive. Now that I cut those away it's already getting stronger! Now if only I liked bell peppers…

Somehow I managed to keep my kale, spinach and Swiss chard producing all summer. Granted it was much slower going, but it's cool that I had at least *some* fresh greens through the super hot summer. Gonna try and throw in some starts today so by the time we get home from Germany it'll be on its way to being the salad factory it was in the fall
