Said goodbye to my brother Mark today! I can't even explain how excited I have been to have him around. He's awesome! I also can't really explain how amazing it is to meet a sibling for the first time as an adult. We have so many interesting similarities even though we had spent a lifetime apart, it has been such a unique glimpse into nature vs nurture… And trust me I'm now a firm believer that there is a whole lot more to nature than I ever would have imagined. I'm so thankful to have not only been connected with an entirely new set of family members, but that they all have welcomed me with such open arms. It's really the happiest ending I could have hoped for ️

I don't know if I've ever posted about a celebrity passing. None has ever effected me this much. Prince and his music have been a part of my life since I was a little girl and he and Freddie Mercury were my first childhood crushes (analyze that, ha). He unapologetically owned his mysterious life, his dedication to creativity and his constant exudation of pure sexuality. I always have and always will consider him one of the most beautiful people to ever live. I am crushed that I was never able to see him perform. Rest in paisley, sweet Prince.
