Also, spotted a new #babywatermelon growing into my front gate! I guess the way you get your #watermelons to fruit is by threatening to pull them

My little #katyapricot is finally looking more like a tree and less like a stick with leaves! These pics are just under 6 months apart. Going to remove the stakes soon, I just want to be sure the storms are all done since we've had such crazy ones here in #Tempe. I'm going to add a tree ring at the bottom later today, and hopefully a few new trees tomorrow! I've learned so much about how to keep trees healthy from the local gardening and fruit tree groups on Facebook. Mulching, tree rings, composting, soil amending, azomite… I would have never known without their guidance

The valet at the Valley Ho was kind enough to let me sneak a variegated pink eureka lemon from one of their gorgeous trees. If you've never seen or tasted one, do it! It's a pink flesh lemon and its leaves look water color painted and its blossoms are intoxicating. One of my favorite citrus fruits/trees! Now that it's cooling down I may go buy my new trees for the yard this weekend! I want to only do more rare citrus- blood oranges, pink lemon and honey tangerines
