So excited to meet with my friend @tonygrowsfood this week to turn my little dead flower patch into a full time salad factory! Time to grow some #veggies. I really admire Tony- he and I met in some bizarre circumstances in the early 2000's and since then I've seen him carve out an amazing life filled with purpose. He spends countless hours volunteering and helps manage the community garden at St Vincent DePaul (need a place to volunteer?) If you need someone to set you up with a top notch, #sustainable #organic garden he can help you from start to finish. I'd way rather pay an awesome guy who advocates for #urbanfarming, feeds the homeless and helps provide them vocational training than pay some random landscaping company.
