#legday! And probably the best workout I've had in ages. I'm lifting heavier than ever and it feels so goooood! 5 min stepmill warmup3 sets 12 leg press machine, feet high on the plate3 sets 12 laying ham curl3 sets 15 (each leg) split squats 15 jumping lunges between each set3 sets 15 plié squats (heels raised on a weight plate)15 jump squats in between sets3 sets 20 weighted glute bridges Kept my heart rate up the whole time by mixing the #plyo between sets because it's late and I didn't want to be on a cardio machine after.Trying to make my new gym in #Tempe feel like home... Not feeling it yet though unfortch :P The layout is frustrating and there's no glute kickback machine. Sigh.

Still haven't figured out how to make bowls of stuff look awesome... But this one was beyond delicious. Sloppy Joes- #fitfoods style! Been contemplating making an e-book with fitness style comfort food. Would obviously list macros and make variations for specific diets. Yay? Nay? Thoughts?

7am came too quickly. Early morning trainer sesh at @azprophysiques, killing upper body and making a new show plan now that my health is getting back in point. Looks like I'm shooting for the amateur show at #phoenixeuropa late October :D this gives me 22 weeks to have a healthy, comfortable #prep. Well, as comfortable as #contestprep can be haha! Plus, my birthday is the following week so I'll be able to celebrate 32 looking fierce! Also considering following that up with the #midnightsunclassic in Alaska in November to spend some time with the fam and friends. Not having a date in mind was making me lose focus. It's too easy to rationalize myself out of a workout without a deadline- I know this about myself. Having a countdown is exceptionally motivating and keeps me focused! Cheers to doing it right this time, and in a way that is more respectful to my health and well being ️

Okay, there was no way to make this look pretty but omg it tasted out of this world!! If you like BBQ chicken pizzas or salads, this is right up your alley. 1/2c black beans (I used pre seasoned, get plain if you're watching sodium)4oz chicken, shredded1/4 reduced fat shredded cheese (I opted for Mexican blend)1tbsp Greek yogurt1tbsp BBQ sauce mixed w 1.5 tbsp waterCilantro/Green onions to tasteAdd chicken to bowl, pour diluted BBQ sauce over. Add black beans, sprinkle all with cheese. Microwave for 1 min.
